So er...decided I should probably start blogging...thing is where do I start? I'm not great at writing, only me and maybe a couple of others think that I'm funny, so I don't think that I'll be the next David Mitchell and have my own column in the guardian. But hey, one must start somewhere....
I've spent the last 3 days, teaching at the London Jewellery School. The first 3 day intensive Tiaras and Wedding Jewellery course. Day 1 was beginners Tiaras, Day 2, Intermediate Tiaras and day 3 Wedding Jewellery.
Well, what a fun 3 days, my students were great and wow what great creations came out.
I've run the beginners Tiaras class now a couple of times, but the intermediate
class was new for 2011. Intermediate level is about wiring components to frames rather than the beaded tiaras which is beginner level. Above is my very first Tiara that I made using this technique 3 years ago...
Below is me experimenting with pink... Now maybe this is not for your average bride...but I had fun making it and maybe someone will have fun wearing it!

So thats what I have been up to this week, now I'm off to make something in gold...or white...or maybe a gothic tiara...watch this space.
